The present and future of contemporary Spanish cuisine are captured in the pages of Apicius.

Known for showcasing some of the world's most influential chefs, this issue takes a different approach by exploring the roots of Spanish gastronomy. Its central theme is the transmission of cooking from mothers to their children.

The magazine brings together leading figures of modern Spanish cuisine—including Joan Roca, Nacho Manzano, Paco Morales, Iván Cerdeño, and Luis Lera—alongside the cooking of their mothers, presenting both worlds in dialogue.

Included are 29 traditional recipes prepared by the mothers and 29 contemporary creations by their chef sons.
