日本でも高島屋などに出店し、非常に高い人気を誇っている。

彼の両親もブーランジェリーやショコラトリーを営んでおり、16歳のころに両親の店で働きその道に進むことを決めたそうだ。
その後24歳で家業を継ぎ、27歳という当時最年少の若さでMOFを獲得した。
