Color Food : Eve Cardi

Eve Cardi is a photographer, food stylist, and cook.

She has also worked on catering for a wide range of events across the worlds of cinema, fashion, and music, including lunches for CHANEL fashion shows and dinners for Bruce Springsteen concerts in Paris.

This book focuses on "color," an element that plays an essential role in the enjoyment of food alongside flavor and aroma, presenting more than 50 recipes that make the most of the natural colors of ingredients.

The recipes are organized by color—white, yellow, orange, red, pink, blue, green, brown, and black. From starters and main courses to desserts, the book unfolds as a spectrum of colorful dishes.

The collection includes celeriac risotto, a butternut squash creation, pink pita with falafel, butterfly-shaped maamoul, a chocolate dessert, and a vegetable ribbon tart, among many other distinctive recipes inspired by color.

Rather than relying on artificial food coloring, the recipes highlight the natural hues of vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
