At just 23, Christophe Felder became head pastry chef at the Hôtel de Crillon. Camille Lesecq, his close disciple, also reached the same position at a remarkably young age, becoming head pastry chef at Le Meurice when he was 23.

Today, the two chefs have returned to Alsace, their native region, and have published many books together.
